Why choose a villa rather than a hotel?
The villa cost is lower than a hotel room, especially if two families holiday together, so the savings are significant. Hotels are impersonal and your space is limited. Our villa provides much greater space and a full kitchen, so you do not have to eat out all the time. There are lots of restaurants and takeaway restaurants close to the Sanctuary, many of which offer a delivery service. Everything in America revolves around the car, and that includes restaurants whether you stay in a hotel or a villa. America’s drink-driving laws are tougher than ours, which can curtail the pleasure of those driving. Staying in your own villa provides you with extra flexibility to choose whether you eat in or out. Parents can also enjoy drinks or dinner in the villa when small children are asleep, but still within earshot. Your bar and restaurant bill for your holiday will be MUCH lower.

Are towels and bed linen provided?
Yes! The beds are made up just like a hotel ready for your arrival. However, you may wish to bring beach towels if you plan a trip to the Gulf or Atlantic beaches or indeed some of the warm springs in Wekiva State park.

Do I have to clean the villa before I leave?
No. Just like a hotel the villa will be professionally cleaned before you arrive and after you leave. We would request you to leave the villa tidy.

Where do I collect the key from?
The key can be collected from a coded lock box near the front door to the property. We will provide you with precise directions from the airport to the villa together with the code for the lock box and the entry code for the security gates at the entrance to The Sanctuary.

This area also has a selection of restaurants eg 'Chilis' with McDonalds and Subway fast food outlets. Most of the larger supermarkets have ATM machines.

Why do I have to pay a security deposit?
The security deposit of US$300 is payable to the management company.

Whilst the majority of guests respect our home, unfortunately a minority will fail in their responsibility to care for it and may cause negligent damage. This is rare, but just as car hire companies ask for a deposit, homeowners need to insure against that risk. In the case that damage renders the home unusable the homeowner will also be required to provide alternative accommodation for their incoming guests who may have to be accommodated elsewhere until the home is repaired.

The cost of damaged items will be deducted from your deposit. Please be assured that we do not charge you for small breakages.

Do you provide any other services?
Yes, we can, via the management company, provide guests with a crib, high chair, BBQ and late check out The cost of these is detailed on the booking form. Just let us know at the time of booking whether you want any of these additional services.

How can I book your rental home?
Just use the contact form, e-mail or telephone us with your chosen dates and any other questions you may have. Once dates have been agreed, we will confirm your booking along with the total cost. Your deposit cheque of £100/ week will secure your booking. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks before your holiday.
